Industry attitudes towards construction tech

Global restrictions put in place over the last two years have pushed many industries towards the use of technology, leading to a change in the way they operate. However, the adoption of digital solutions for construction pre-dates the pandemic.

Despite this, compared to some sectors construction has been historically slower to adopt digital solutions. As part of research into technological trends within construction, a survey was produced in 2021 by Construction Technology that outlines key factors in behavior towards technology in construction.

The findings of the Attitudes to Construction Technology survey were revealed at the Construction Technology Summit 2022.
