Robot takes strain out of bricklaying

Construction Robotics’ Mule lift enhancer aiding bricklayers on a project

Construction Robotics has developed a solution for lifting heavy materials up to 70kg.

The Mule is a lifting machine that takes the strain out of the physically demanding task of bricklaying.

With the Mule lifting two blocks, each of around 810mm in length, a human bricklayer can then guide them into position, without having to lift the blocks at all.

Zack Zuidema, VP of the US-based firm Jimmy’z Masonry said using the equipment on site had led to reduced fatigue and injury among workers and increased efficiency.
