Membership milestone for C-Tech Club

The C-Tech Club, a global community of construction-tech founders, has reached the milestone of 300 members.

The group, which began in 2019, is a community of leaders of start-ups connected with the built environment. It exists to help founders learn from and support each other as they help bring innovation to infrastructure and construction.

John Priestland set up the C-Tech Club with the idea of creating an environment to make it easier for founders to work together and collaborate. He comments that, “It can be challenging and lonely being the founder of a start-up.

“Everyone is doing their own part of creating Construction 2.0. Together, the C-Tech Club helps create connections and join some of the dots.”

The C-Tech Club is a ‘by-founders-for-founders group’ that is only open to founders and CEOs. It is global, with members in 26 countries – from Austria to Saudi Arabia.

John Egan, Founder of BIM Launcher, a company that removes manual workflows from construction projects, was the 300th member. Egan said, “I am looking forward to being part of this vibrant and passionate group. I know I can learn a lot from what other founders have achieved.”

Members can attend monthly speaker meetings, have access to collaboration and communication tools and are supported with their marketing and conference activities. The C-Tech Club also writes White Papers on issues of relevance to construction technology and organises meetings with external bodies, such as Procore, Oracle and HS2.
