Ferrovial says that they aim to promote innovative solutions that improve efficiency and sustainability while exploring new opportunities in various fields, such as the construction and operation of data centres.

NTT DATA will act as Ferrovial’s technology partner, focusing on growth in North America. Additionally, NTT DATA will establish a Center of Excellence in Digital Solutions for infrastructures in Spain to address the sector’s current challenges.

The centre will develop innovative and sustainable solutions for asset management, improve business planning tools, and develop solutions for operating energy infrastructures using automation, generative artificial intelligence, and digital twins.

The experience of using these solutions in Ferrovial’s own projects is said to enable them to have an impact on the development of the broader industry by driving technological progress.
