CE Barometer for July: Results continue to fluctuate month-on-month

The CE Barometer survey for July was undertaken during the first three weeks of August.

Construction professionals across Europe participated in this month’s CE Barometer survey.

Results from the barometer have fluctuated since April and it is likely to continue until the end of the year.

Looking ahead to the next year, the numbers continue to decrease and show that confidence in the future is low. Only 20.7% of respondents predict that their business will improve, which is lower than last months report of 29%. Those expecting business to be worse has slightly lowered from 35.5% to 31%.

Compared to the previous year, 44.8% reported that business levels are worse. On a positive note, 24.1% reported better business levels compared to last year.
