New Bobcat dealer for Northern Sweden

Nordkust, a newly established company, will serve construction and demolition contractors operating in the north of Sweden, with its territory stretching across the Norrbotten and Västerbotten regions from Umeå to Kiruna.

Johan Gustafsson, owner of Nordkust Maskin, said: “We will keep a stock of new machines, attachments and spare parts for customers at our facilities at Betongvägen 42 in Luleå.

“With this, we hope to be able to contribute to the continued development in Northern Sweden, offering local companies top quality products and solutions with excellent service.”

As well as Bobcat mini excavators, compact tracked and wheeled loaders and skid steers, Nordkust will also stock light compaction equipment, small articulated loaders, and rigid frame and rotary telehandlers with reaches of up to 40 m (131 ft).

Johan Bursell, Bobcat Sverige’s CEO, said: “Through the new collaboration, we will strengthen Bobcat’s presence in the area and be able to offer even better service and support to current and future customers.

“We are very confident that Nordkust Maskin is the ideal partner for us in this area, and together we will continue to offer the same unique Bobcat experience that customers in Sweden have come to expect.”

Nordkust will a display range of the manufacturer’s equipment at this year’s Load Up North Fair in Boden, Sweden, which runs from tomorrow to the 27 August. 

It is expected that the company will show models from Bobcat’s new R-Series range of skid steers and compact tracked loaders, and its R2 series of 5 to 6 t mini excavators.

This latest news from Bobcat Sverige and Nordkust comes as Bobcat itself announces the launch of a mini tracked loader model, which set is set to take place at the 2022 Galabau Exhibition in Germany next month. 

The new MT100 mini tracked loader is a stand-on unit that “removes the need for manual labour” on construction and demolition sites.

“The compact dimensions of the MT100 provide easy passage through narrow gates and doorways and facilitate work in confined spaces,” said Bobcat.

“In addition, the MT100 shares many of the same attachments found on other small Bobcat loaders such as buckets, trenchers, breakers and sweepers using the same standard Bob-Tach system.”
